I saw a few sample lessons on youtube and knew these DVD lessons would be gold. The knowledge contained in her workshops will indeed boost your writing and storytelling abilities. If you're strapped for cash, get the workbook first, but make sure you build your collection of the DVD's. Great Job!

First Off I must say... very impressive! No one has ever achieved this level of focus and clarity on this subject.... EVER!

the next thing that must be said is that its really EASY! =) very cool! it saves you reading 50+ books (most of which are really boring!) and its so much fun to let this step by step guide lead you through all the hardest stuff in a snap! No question is too hard for this since the lists are voluminuous and competely inspiring... even if you dont use the ideas that are recommended it get the creative juices going for your own stories and plot elements etc...

instead of telling you everything I will point out that the author/producers also included a FREE version of it to download and/stream on youtube. so if you are curious what its like there is 90 minutes of a whole nutshell class FREEEEEEEEEE =) cant argue with that!

and they give you a PDF with 50 sample pages to get you started with the free online version...

so after that you are totally up to speed and know why its so important to invest in this PRICELESS process... you will thank yourself forever! =)

When leading a small group of film-makers and script writers in a summer retreat, this was my primary resource. Draws on Sheridan's 19 part "Writing a Great Script Fast" DVD series, and allowed me to demonstrate the writing a script is no mystery.

The Workbook is essential to the process. If you follow the format of this program you WILL create a script that you are proud of!

This workbook goes with the 19 DVD video class and helps you to organize all of your screenplay or story ideas from the exercises. It also has ALL the techniques she teaches in lists for each step. If you cannot afford to get the whole set of DVDS get this workbook. There are questions for each step that you answer then at the end you will have your script all planned out almost done just needing a final retype.

There are some typos in this workbook which can upset the proofreading crowd, but the wealth of information more than makes up for the editing issues. Highly recommended for students or new screenwriters. This workbook is a roadmap for planning any deep story and will change the way you think about screenwriting. I wish I would have had this resource when I first started writing.
